Welcome to Mimosa. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Mimosa website and all purchases made through our online store. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Products
We strive to ensure all product descriptions, colours and images are as accurate as possible. Due to different screen settings and lighting, slight variations in colour may occur.
As many of our products are handmade or produced in small batches, slight variations between items may occur.
3. Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change without prior notice.
4. Payment
We accept secure online payments through our approved payment gateway. Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully received.
5. Shipping
We currently deliver throughout South Africa.
* Standard delivery: 2–5 working days.
* Pre-order items: 7–14 working days unless otherwise stated.
* Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by public holidays, courier delays or unforeseen circumstances.
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout unless a free shipping promotion applies.
6. Order Processing
Orders are processed during normal business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Once an order has been dispatched, customers will receive a tracking number where available.
7. Returns & Exchanges
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
For hygiene reasons, certain jewellery items (such as earrings) may not be returned unless faulty.
Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging and in resalable condition.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
8. Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed or shipped. Once dispatched, our standard returns policy applies.
9. Warranty
If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs and your order number so we can assess the issue.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse or improper care.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, including photographs, logos, graphics, branding, product descriptions and designs, remains the property of Mimosa and may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
Mimosa shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website, except where required by South African law.
12. Privacy
Customer information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
